Broncos set for 2024 US Priority Draft

Swift Current, Sask. – The Western Hockey League (WHL) US Priority Draft is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, with the Broncos holding the 17th and 39th overall picks in the draft.

This marks the fifth year of the US Priority Draft. Players eligible for the 2024 WHL US Priority Draft are 2009-born players residing in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon , South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.


Players not selected in the 2024 WHL US Priority Draft remain eligible to be selected in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft on Thursday.

In the 2023 U.S. Priority Draft, the Broncos drafted goaltender Aiden Eskit fourth overall and defenseman Dominic Deibert 30th overall.

In the 2022 U.S. Priority Draft, the Broncos selected forward Tyson Ulmer 12th overall and defenseman Lincoln Kuehne 33rd overall.
