Rose Zhang, leader of the first lap, retains the lead, but now shares it with Sweden’s Madelene Sagstrom. At -13, the two players are four shots ahead of world number 1 Nelly Korda, once again at the top of the rankings. Korda launched with a first day in -3 and scored 66 (-6) for the second round, hitting 94% of the greens in regulation. Will the winning streak continue?

Behind the leading players, the ranking is very compact and we find high caliber players such as Lydia Ko or Minjee Lee in the top 10.

The French dropped in the rankings on this second day in Clifton. But in the top 20 on the first day, thanks to cards of -3, Perrine Delacour and Céline Boutier both play above par this Friday. With respective scores of 74 (+2) and 76 (+4), they drop to 44th and 61st place in the rankings. It was a close call for Céline Boutier, who finished by the narrowest of margins. However, Agathe Laisné misses the cut, also punished with a card over par in 77 (+5) on the second day.
