If Game 1 was a sign of things to come, this will be an entertaining series.

The Knicks held on for a 121-117 win Monday that featured controversial calls late in the fourth quarter.

The referees called a moving screen violation against the Pacers that led to the Knicks’ win.

Still, it was an encouraging start for New York, which has a chance to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks again with 44 points.

The Knicks’ thrilling Game 2 win featured injuries, one return from injury and plenty of lead changes – with a bit of history thrown in for good measure.

According to Stat Mamba, three players scored more than 25 points in a playoff game for the first time in Knicks franchise history.

Jalen Brunson, who did not play in the second quarter due to a foot injury, returned to the Garden on Wednesday night and scored 29 points in the Knicks’ 130-121 comeback win over the Pacers.

Charles Barkley has a bone to pick with New York.

The Round Mound of Rebound itself was in no mood to let the Knicks or their fans celebrate their thrilling 130-121 Game 2 win over the Pacers.

“People think we care who wins,” he said on TNT’s postgame show. “If the Knicks win, that would be good. I don’t care who wins. but I’ll tell you what: I’d love to see them get stomped by the Celtics, that would be awesome. I’m just saying whoever wins this series will get stomped by the Celtics.”

Reggie Miller knew he would get the attention of Knicks fans on Wednesday night and he did, to the point that Josh Hart made sure he knew exactly what they were chanting to him.

As the Knicks wrapped up their 130-121 Game 2 win over the Pacers and took a 2-0 lead into the second round, the loyal fans of Madison Square Garden serenaded the former Pacers star and NBA on TNT analyst with a not-safe-for-work song.

“F-k you Reggie” rang out from the fans in the direction of Miller, who was standing courtside as part of the TNT broadcast team.

Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle was ejected from Game 2 against the Knicks after a bizarre series of events.

With the Knicks leading 124-118 with 1:19 left in the fourth quarter, Isaiah Hartenstein carried the ball to New York and initially whistled for a double dribble.

But on the replay it quickly became clear that Hartenstein had not committed a double dribble, and the officials cowered before saying the whistle had been ‘unintentional’.

Jalen Brunson says the right foot is fine. He doesn’t remember how it happened.

“I’m fine, and that’s all. I just felt a little uncomfortable and went from there,” he said. “I had to make a decision and I made a decision.”

Donte DiVincenzo: “He is a warrior.”

Rick Carlisle with an interesting quote about officiating. Told reporters Knicks are allowed to play physical and Pacers are not. Said he plans to send videos of plays to league Indiana that he believes were missed.

“Small-market teams deserve an equal chance. They deserve a fair chance wherever they play,” he said.

According to Tom Thibodeau, there was no immediate update on OG Anunoby. He was ruled out of the game late in the third quarter due to a sore left hamstring. Thibodeau also said they weren’t sure if Jalen Brunson would be able to return. But he found a way to get it out.

“A lot of strength. I think that is also the composition of our team. … That’s who he is,” the Knicks coach said.

Jalen Brunson’s five-game 40-point streak came to an end, but he combined with teammates Donte DiVincenzo and OG Anunoby to make some history.
