Coulter Foster and Donegan on their way to national championships

Ireland will be well represented at this year’s 2024 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship after Beth Coulter, Anna Foster and Aine Donegan all progressed through the regionals with their respective university teams.

Sara Byrne left her senior year at Miami capping off a sensational season with a seventh-place finish at Regionals, with the Canes falling just behind at Nationals.

Coulter finished 12th in the individual standings in her sophomore year at ASU and helped her team to a 38th NCAA championship appearance, the most of any program in the country.

The woman from Kirkistown Castle was the most consistent Sun Devil all week, never dropping out of the Top 20 at any point. This is her eighth career top-20 finish as she prepares to make her NCAA Championship debut.

Meanwhile, Foster and Auburn University won the Auburn Regionals by four shots at ten under to punch their ticket to the Nationals.

Elm Park’s Foster tied for 25th on the individual standings.

Donegan and LSU earned their second straight ticket to the Nationals with a four-shot victory at the Bryan Regional.
