“I’m Going With Kendrick” – After Joe Rogan, Derrick Lewis steps in to arrange Kendrick Lamar and Drake Beef

Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been at each other’s throats for a while now over their ongoing rap battle. The feud between the rappers is the talk of the town in the music industry. However, the oil has been spilled to the point where even the faces in the MMA world are now appearing on the scene. Joe Rogan was one of the first people to comment on their beef, but now it seems even the MMA fighters are intrigued by the commotion.

The beef is nothing new as it started in 2013 when Kendrick Lamar fired shots at Drake and many other rap artists on his song “Control.” The duo has been together ever since. This year, however, things started to get nasty when both artists released songs attacking each other personally. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at what the UFC faces had to say about this.

Fighters aren’t the only people who engage in a complete prank to destroy their opponents. Rap artists have their own way of fighting and diss tracks are the main weapons in their arsenal. The ongoing battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has broken several records in the music industry, with Kendrick Lamar seemingly winning the race against Canadian Drake. Since the UFC has a connection with Canada and Drake is a big fan of the sport, it made sense for the UFC faces to step up to commentate on the fight.

Joe Rogan had a conversation with Deric Poston about the fight on his recent JRE episode, and he was surprised by it.“So what, someone needs to tap in here? Is this unto death?” Rogan said. He further said that they should settle their issues without using any violence against each other. “That would be the way to end it, that’s what you do: break bread, hug it, say ‘well, that’s me’; ‘You got me with that, let’s release it as an album’, Rogan added.

Well, Rogan seems a little confused about how a diss track works, but he wasn’t the only one commenting on the fight. UFC heavyweight fighter Derrick Lewis has also given his opinion on it. While speaking to the media ahead of UFC St. Louis, Lewis was asked for his thoughts on the ongoing rap battle. Surprisingly, Lewis was aware of this and claimed that he would always choose Kendrick Lamar over Drake.“I’m going with Kendrick. Why? Kendrick from the US? That’s why, yes yes yes, that’s right,” Lewis said.

After that statement, an amusing incident occurred when the reporter, who was Canadian, asked if he had any problems with Canadian territory. Lewis responded by saying he loved Canada but would choose Lamar every time. Well, Derrick Lewis has picked his fighter in the fight, but who does Joe Rogan pick? Let’s find out.

Rogan has no dog in this race

The two Grammy-winning artists have been at each other’s throats for the past decade over their ongoing feud. Things remained quiet for a while, but tension flared again when Kendrick Lamar released the song ‘Like That’, distancing himself from his participation with the Big Three including Drake and J Cole.

Drake then dropped a feature film ‘Push Ups’ where he directly attacked Lamar and other artists in the industry. This was the start of a forest fire in the music industry as Lamar ruthlessly went against the Canadian singer. He dropped features like “Euphoria,” “6:16 in LA,” and “Not Like Us” against Drake. From now on, Lamar is breaking records and winning the race, but the battle is far from over. As this all unfolds, Joe Rogan is glad he’s not a part of it.

In his conversation with Deric Poston, Rogan explained that he is happy to be ignorant about these matters. “This whole rap world, the rap beef, I’m glad I don’t know anything about it. I’m on the outside.” Rogan admitted. “People keep bringing it up. No, you’re dragging me into this nonsense,’ said the podcaster.
