Jury members wanted for BikeBiz Awards 2024! – Events

Anticipation for the 2024 BikeBiz Awards, in partnership with Push, continues to grow before it returns as an in-person event later this year – and we need you to help.

Each year the awards aim to celebrate the innovative, inspiring and exciting people and brands that make the cycling industry so unique.

To help determine the winners, we’d like to appoint a panel of industry figures to join us in recognizing the best of the best in the bike trade.

In 2022, we reintroduced a judging process, with twelve people from different corners of the industry, from IBDs to media and distributors, helping to determine the winners.

The BikeBiz Awards 2024, in partnership with Push, are now looking for cycling and micromobility professionals and industry leaders who would be interested in joining our new judging panel, to help decide who from among the very best talent in the UK cycling world must be honored. .

The majority of winners will be determined by the panel, while some selected prizes will still be subject to public voting. If you are interested in becoming a judge, please contact our editor Daniel Blackham at [email protected] for more information.

This year’s awards are also divided into five categories: brands, distributors, retailers, inclusivity and micromobility.

These categories have been carefully chosen by the BikeBiz team to cover all aspects of the cycling industry and recognize those who go the extra mile, create real change and set a positive example for the cycling industry.

More details about each award within the categories will be announced soon.

The judging will take place remotely via an online vote, and judges will be asked to give their thoughts on why they chose each winner.

To make the assessment fair, judges will have to refrain from any award category that may relate to their own organization, to avoid conflicts of interest. For example, retailer judges are not allowed to vote in the Retailers category.

This year’s winners will be announced at a special event on Thursday 31 October, held at The Button Factory in Birmingham.

Tickets for the BikeBiz Awards 2024, in partnership with Push, are also now on sale with early bird tickets for just £25 per person.
